Grapefruits are coming in handy! I've been starving lately, and I've found that I can blend a grapefruit with ice cubes and a dash of artificial juice mix to make a killer smoothie. The smoothies are filling and full of vitamin C; plus they feel good on my sore throat.
I had a smoothie this morning instead of oatmeal. I had pb&j for lunch, carrot sticks for snack, and rice and eggs for dinner. I've honestly been so hungry lately, I ate some of the kids cookies at school, and my coworker bought me a soda after school. I feel like a bottomless pit. I had no idea I could eat so many carbs in one day!

carrots- $0.15
juice- $0.08
